We wear a kippah as a sign of respect and to remind us that G-d is watching over us.
This White Cotton Kippah has four sections and is embroidered with colorful airplanes, helicopters and hot air balloons in bright colors.
The kippah has some powerful references in Talmudic literature, where it is associated with a sincere reverence for G-d.
Artist Yair Emanuel, a graduate of the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design, lives and works in Jerusalem. Vivid and harmonious colors as well as a mixture of the old and the new characterize Emanuel’s work, which is designed and crafted in his Jerusalem studio.
