Gold Plated Star of David Tallit / Tallis Clip - Made in Israel
This lovely traditional tallit clip has a beautiful design in the form of the two tablets of the 10 Commandments - "Aseret ha-Dibrot", with Hebrew letters and with a lion on each side and a deep blue rhinestone in the center.
It is inscribed with the Hebrew phrase " Mitzion tetsay Torah" - From Zion (Jerusalem) will come the Torah.

Before putting on a tallit, it is a customary tradition to kiss it and hold it open while the following prayer is recited:
"Blessed are You, O Lord our G-d, King of the Universe, Who has commanded us to wrap ourselves in the tallit"
The tallit or talis is a prayer shawl that has special twined and knotted fringes called tzitziot that are attached to each of its four corners. The tallit is sometimes called the "arba kanfot" or four corners.
The Kabbalists considered the tallit to be a special garment worn for the service of G-d that was intended, in connection with the tefillin, to inspire wonder, awe and reverence for G-d during times of prayer (Zohar, Exodus Toledot, p. 141a).
